Moving to an e-commerce site was a big jump for our farm three years ago, but I knew it was the direction I needed to go with our farm business. This was pre-pandemic. At the time we had a basic website with an online form that operated as our means for placing orders.

I’m goal-orientated; I can’t help it. It’s how I’m wired. I’m sure some of it has to do with years of leadership training and development as an FFA member in my early years (am I dating myself now!?).

As the new year begins, so does a new plan and set of goals for my farm business. This year I’ve decided to set the content to my blog for the entire year. Yes, the whole year. I’m taking a nod to my old days in corporate communications and as an editor and taking a more through approach to planning. It’s a more thoughtful approach to providing you with more meaningful content related to goats, whether that’s about raising them, grazing them or on the marketing side.
