Hi I'm Leslie

I'm a full-time farmer in Western Wisconsin where I raise meat goats and sheep on pasture using regenerative and rotational grazing practices.

I created this website because
I had so many people reaching out, both locally and beyond, wanting to know more about how I was raising and marketing goats.

I also recognized that it IS so hard to find information in this space. I wanted to share what I've learned along the way and reduce your time searching the depths of the internet.

I may earn affiliate income from links in the blog post, including through the Amazon Associates program as well as other brand partnerships. I only promote products I actually use in my farm and business.

Amazon Prime Day Finds: Farm + farmhouse

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Amazon Prime Days are here, and there are thousands of options to sift through to figure out what’s actually a deal. I went through and made a list of things I use on our farm (outside, retail prep/business, and farmhouse).

You can find the full list right here in my Amazon Storefront. I do earn a commission on any sales, but it comes at no cost to you. I use or have used all the products I share.

Prime Days run July 8–11, but some deals are only available for a shorter amount of time. If you don’t have Prime, you can also sign up for a free trial and cancel afterward if you don’t need it.

  • Rolling magnetic sweeper
  • Jump starter pack
  • Boot scrubber
  • Boot dryer for winter and summer rain (boots and gloves)
  • Vet med gloves

Retail Farm Sales Supplies

These are the products that make shipping, packing, and running the retail side of our farm business more efficient.

  • Wireless Rollo thermal shipping label printer. This is worth the investment. I can print directly from my workstation or my phone. Thermal printers don’t need ink. We get our labels from UPS, so it’s just an investment in the printer itself.
  • Wired Rollo thermal shipping label printer. Same as the option above, but more economical. We started with this one.
  • SensorPush freezer sensors. We use these to monitor our walk-in freezer to make sure it’s maintaining temps. It also notifies me if it goes above the levels I set.
  • Other office supplies:
    • My favorite Sharpie gel pens
    • Post-it notes
    • King-size Sharpies

Business + Marketing Books

A few favorite books that have helped me grow our farm business and improve how we share our story.

  • Deep Work by Cal Newport
  • StoryBrand by Donald Miller
  • Marking Made Simple by Donald Miller
  • The Gap and the Gain by Benjamin Hardy

Farmhouse Must-Haves

These everyday essentials keep our farmhouse organized, clean, and comfortable while we juggle farm life.

  • Blink security cameras (easy to use, reasonable subscription fee)
  • Zevo fly trap for the house (it works!)
  • Bissell portable carpet cleaner
  • Shark robot vacuum. We have two. Keeps things clean while we’re farming.
  • Mason jar cold brew coffee filter/maker
  • Coffee bean grinder. Freshly ground beans make a big difference in a good cup of coffee.
  • Instant Pot. Meal prep while you work.
  • NeilMed Sinus Rinse. Even my kids use this. We use it daily to help with seasonal allergens, dust, and wildfire smoke. It helps a lot with keeping sinuses clear and reducing headaches.
  • Face SPF – La Roche-Posay. This is one I use regularly when working outside.
  • AirPods. Listen to music, podcasts, and books while working and packing orders.
