Hi I'm Leslie

I'm a full-time farmer in Western Wisconsin where I raise meat goats and sheep on pasture using regenerative and rotational grazing practices.

I created this website because
I had so many people reaching out, both locally and beyond, wanting to know more about how I was raising and marketing goats.

I also recognized that it IS so hard to find information in this space. I wanted to share what I've learned along the way and reduce your time searching the depths of the internet.

Goat Rancher Column: Breaking down goat meat cuts

I’m excited to say that I had an article published in Goat Rancher magazine’s July 2024 issue.

This issue was centered around cuisine and my column focused on breaking down the different goat meat cuts. If you haven’t read it yet I highly encourage you to do so. Through Goat Rancher’s online store you can purchase digital as well as physical subscriptions to the magazine and you can probably request to receive the July 2024 issue specifically as well.

For a less in depth and more general overview than what’s in my column you can also check out my guide to goat meat cuts here on my blog.
