Hi I'm Leslie

I'm a full-time farmer in Western Wisconsin where I raise meat goats and sheep on pasture using regenerative and rotational grazing practices.

I created this website because
I had so many people reaching out, both locally and beyond, wanting to know more about how I was raising and marketing goats.

I also recognized that it IS so hard to find information in this space. I wanted to share what I've learned along the way and reduce your time searching the depths of the internet.

I may earn affiliate income from links in the blog post, including through the Amazon Associates program as well as other brand partnerships. I only promote products I actually use in my farm and business.

Fall Carhartt haul

Here’s my fall Carhartt haul! I’m loving the lined stocking hats, cropped tees, this 3/4 zip sweatshirt and my Packer NFL hat (also in your favorite teams).

Satin beannie

As a curly girl, I’m super excited about these satin lined Carhartt stocking caps. And, really you probably don’t have to have curly hair to appreciate it either. So I actually sleep in a satin cap or use a satin pillow case to reduce frizziness in my hair when I don’t have wash days. This stocking cap basically does the same thing. I wanted to order one last season, but they were out of stock!

Cropped relaxed work tee

I really like these cropped relaxed tees. They are less trendy mid-drift cropped, but rather sit at your waist for a nice clean look. I already have a pink one I really like. They’re also made of Carhartt’s active fabric, which is durable, breathable, but still feels and looks like a regular cotton shirt. If you’re not into the cropped style, you can also find a traditional style as well.

3/4 zip sweatshirt

I love sweatshirts in the fall and winter, but I have so many hoodies already. I decided to go with this 3/4 zip in Navy to wear around the farm, but I could also even dress it up some for going off the farm or heading to a farmer-work conference as well. Navy is sort-of my new “black” in my closet.

’47 Packer Carhartt cap

Lastly, as a Green Bay native, how could I not get the special edition Packers hat in the Carhartt twill?! There are three different styles. I went for the relaxed fit. I did get my husband one, but his is the more structured hat style. And, if you’re not into the Packers (but I can’t understand why?!) they carry other NFL teams, along with MLB and NCAA too.
